New life in La Peñita

We are now in our home in La Peñita, next town adjoining Guayabitos. We live on a hill with a fantastic view of the ocean, including the entire Bay of Jaltemba. It is a bit cooler here due to higher elevation and nice breezes, which will make a big difference in the hot rainy season.
The kitties like it here, but of course want to go outside. I am reluctant now, fearing for their safety as they are still young.

It is quieter here, except for this week the town (actually the states of Jalisco and Nayarit) celebrates a saint who protects these states), so every evening and early morning before sunrise there is a lot of loud booms (fireworks) but not always a colorful display, just loud booms.
